Together, We Can Build Stability, Dignity, and Hope
Dear Community Members,
The Eritrean Muslims Council, in partnership with ARAHA, is honored to launch one of our most impactful initiatives yet: building permanent homes for Eritrean refugee families in the Horn of Africa.
For families who have lost everything, the security of a home brings not only shelter, but dignity, stability, and hope. This is more than a donation. It is a sadaqah jariyah, a continuous charity that fulfills one of the most beautiful teachings of our faith.
Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) says, “The best of deeds is to make a Muslim happy, or to remove a difficulty from him, or to pay off a debt for him, or to feed him bread.”
Our newly improved homes are built to last. Each circular hut includes:
- A 4.5-meter diameter (15.9 m²) of living space
- A strong foundation made of blocks, red bricks, cement, and sand
- Comfort, stability, and the promise of a better future
The total cost to build one complete home is just $1,622.57.
