EMC is happy to announce the completion of our solar panel project with ARAHA.
We were able to bring consistent lighting and electricity to the Shegerab girls school in Sudan, a school that is situated in the middle of a refugee camp. With your help, we are able to power lights, computers, fans, and classroom equipment. Alhamdulillah, this project was made possible by generous donations by the friends, families, and community members of the Eritrean Muslims Council. Your donations have helped 175 girls attend school with very good ventilation capacity during hot seasons and also the possibility of extending classes into the evening. For a typical child in rural Sudan or refugee camps, access to education remains the most important means of acquiring the skills that are essential for professional advancement and social self-determination.
